Land loads of crab

This 30' Landing Craft-style boat is used for crabbing. It’s fast but has low gas consumption, to make short work of getting to the crabbing grounds and pulling pots. A lowerable bow door makes loading and unloading gear a snap.

Boat specs: 46 mph top speed, cruises at 30 mph at 3,800 rpm, with twin 150 Mercury OptiMax outboards. Painted epoxy nonskid decks with everything else left unpainted for easy cleaning. Bait table under windshield for easy use, made of plastic for easy care and cleaning. 5.5’ x 6' walk-around cabin with one side door. Honda pack for running a hydraulic winch.
